OUTPATIENT INFORMATION
Outpatient
- Registration in OPD shall be based on your request for a check-up for a particular
ailment /condition/consultation.
- You can make a request for a particular physician to attend on you. If no such request
is made, the Registration Desk will assign a competent physician in the specialty to
take care of you. Public Relation Officers will guide you to the doctor.
- OP Registration Card: This is to record your particulars like name, address etc.
- On completion of the formalities you will be guided to the consultation room.
- On completion of the consultation, you will be advised to undergo the required
diagnostic tests. Based on the doctor’s advice, the attending nurse will guide you to
the right department. Payment must be made before undergoing any tests.
- Be guided for immediate admission as an In-patient if your doctor feels you need
immediate in-house medical attention; in this case the Attending Nurse will direct your
case history to the Registration Desk for processing as In-patient and transfer you to
your choice of room. Advance amount needs to be made with the IPD billing Department
prior to your admission.
- Be given a prescription for any medicines if required; in this case the Attending Nurse
will direct you to the OPD Billing for payment of the consultation charges before
leaving hospital.
