Home Inpatient
Patients will be admitted only on the advice of doctors. Patients or their attendants are requested to fill in the Admission Form in the Front Office/Reception.
Please indicate your room preference. The Admission Department will allot you a room of your choice, subject to availability.
Please bring minimum number of personal items while getting admitted, viz. two sets of dresses, toilet soap, toothpaste, tooth brush and towels. We advise you not to wear any gold or diamond ornaments while coming to the Hospital for getting admission.
The hospital will not be responsible for any loss or theft of your valuables.
Your diet is decided by our dietician, keeping in mind the individual requirements as specified by the doctor.
Kindly do not bring either home-made food or food from nearby hotels.
Jain food will be provided on request.
We do not serve non-vegetarian food nor do we advise it for the patients.
We request you to take only the prescribed diet. The Hospital makes available healthy and nutritious diet which is also less oily and less spicy.
Your room and toilet will be cleaned twice daily--once in the morning and once in the evening.
Patients are requested not to bring any linen. The Hospital will supply the linen.
Patients' attendants may bring their linen.
Your Consultant Doctor in KG Hospital will be responsible for your treatment.
The doctor will advice and write down the details of the diagnostic tests you have to undergo.
Please inform the doctor about the medicines you are already taking regularly and get his consent for continuing the same medication while you are under his treatment.
All the medicines required for your treatment may be bought from the Hospital's pharmacy which functions round-the-clock.
The medicines so purchased may be kept in a special tray provided at the patient's room and the attending nurse may be informed of the same. The nurse will give the medicines to you as mentioned in the prescription.
When drugs are needed for emergency situations, the nurses will use the drugs from the stock available with them, and such of those medicines should be replaced by the patient's attendant
Bills prepared on the basis of treatment given to the patient should be paid to the Hospital from time to time.
The patient will be given periodical “Payment Advice Slips” for remittance at the cash counter.
Please make only cash payments either at the cash counter or at the billing office located on the 4th Floor of the Hospital and obtain the receipts thereof.
Outstation patients may make the payment either through a demand draft or through credit cards. In case of payment through credit cards, the patients will have to bear the service charges.
You can always demand and obtain the details of “Progressive Billings” from the Cash Department.
If you are covered under the Mediclaim Insurance Policy and if want to avail of the cashless facility, please intimate about this at the time of admission itself and obtain necessary assistance from our Insurance Department.
Our Insurance Department will initiate action to get authorization from the insurance companies or the third party administrators concerned before starting the treatment procedures.
After completion of treatment, your discharge will be based on the final approval from the TPAs.
Your doctor will decide when you have to be discharged.
The Billing Department will prepare the final bill for settlement.
On settlement of the final bill, you may plan to get discharged.

Patients and their attendants are prohibited from smoking in the Hospital premises.
Silence has to be maintained in the Hospital. Even a minor noise will disturb the people who are unwell.
Visitors and patients are requested to speak softly and avoid unnecessary noise.
Relatives are advised not to crowd near the patients’ room.
